Ingredients
3 3 sticks butter
6 6 eggs
8 ounce 8 package cream cheese
3 cups 3 sugar
2 teaspoons 2 vanilla
3 cups 3 soft-as-silk cake flour, sifted
Directions
- Allow butter, eggs and cream cheese to attain room temperature (8-10 hours).
- Cream sugar, cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating each one in thoroughly before adding the next. Use a spatula to turn batter from bottom of mixing bowl; where the egg whites tend to collect.
- Add vanilla.
- Lower mixer speed and add cake flour.
- Spray bundt pan with Baker’s joy and pour cake batter into pan.
- Cook in preheated oven at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 40 minutes. Test for doneness.
- Allow cake to cool in the pan, otherwise the surface will get hard.
